Availability and Location

Q: Are you looking to host your event at our barn or at another location? If you are doing a mobile event please click here for mobile services and pricing. 


Q: What is the date and time of your event?

Guest Count & Age Group Information Required

To properly staff, prepare, and price your event, we require an accurate guest count, including both children and adults. This information ensures we can tailor your experience to the size, age group, and safety needs of your party.

Please provide:

  • Total number of guests attending
  • Number of adults 
  • Number of children
  • Children’s age groups (example: ages 2–4, 5–7, 8–12, teens)
     

Understanding the ages of the children helps us:

  • Select the right animals
  • Plan age-appropriate activities
  • Determine how many handlers and staff members are needed
  • Prepare feed cups, supplies, safety measures, and space setup
  • Recommend the best package and experience for your group
     

Accurate guest information allows us to give you the best service, the best staffing, and the best pricing for your event.

We will Provide You a Custom Quote for Your Event

Thank you for providing your event details!
We can now build a custom quote tailored specifically to your event based on:

  • Your date, time, and location
  • Estimated guest count and age groups
  • Services you selected
  • Length of time you’d like each service
  • Staffing and equipment needs
     

Your quote will reflect the exact services, pricing, and schedule for your event so everything is clear and customized to your vision.Once you approve the quote, we will send your final invoice and contract to officially reserve your date.

Booking Information Required

To reserve your event date and prepare your services, we will need the following details:

  • Your full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Event date & time
  • Event location / address 

Once we receive this information, we will prepare your final invoice and event contract.


Payment Terms

  • A 25% non-refundable reservation fee is due at the time of booking to secure your date. Plus any permit fees
  • The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event.
    Your event is not considered fully confirmed until payment is received.


Changes to Your Services

Please note:Service changes cannot be made within 14 days of your event.
At that point, staffing, animals, equipment, and scheduling are already finalized.

We will always do our best to accommodate adjustments, but we cannot guarantee availability once we are inside the 14-day window.

Booking Confirmation

You are officially booked once your 25% reservation fee has been paid. At that time, your date is secured on our calendar. After booking, you will be paired with our Event Manager, who will contact you two weeks before your event to confirm all services, details, and timelines.

⏱️ Arrival & Setup

  • You may arrive 30 minutes before your event to set up.
  • You will also have 30 minutes after your event to break down and load out. 

Please plan accordingly so we can keep events running smoothly for all guests.

🌾 Hobby Farm – $250 per Hr


Up to 60 Guests • Feed Cups Included • 2 Animal Attendants

Our Hobby Farm can accommodate up to 60 guests and is booked in 1-hour sessions for $250. Each booking includes feed cups and two trained animal attendants who help manage your guests and safely handle the animals throughout your visit.

Ages 2+ • Up to 10 Riders per Hour • Guided, Safe, and Hands-On

Our Lead Line Horse or Pony experience is a one-on-one guided riding session, perfect for young children, beginners, and guests who want a gentle, safe introduction to horseback riding.


Each horse or pony is hand-led by a trained handler, ensuring a calm, personal riding experience. This is not a pony carousel—every child receives individual attention and a real guided ride.

🤠 Hitch & Sip — PARTY SHACK on Wheels! $200 per hr


A converted horse trailer turned full-blown party shack, perfect for dry service food, drinks, entertainment stations, and photo-ready western vibes!

 We operate as a dry-service mobile bar, YOU supply the alcohol beverages or food items, and we supply the setup, serving space, and western charm!


PARTY PALS 

$150 hr $75 1/2hr.

Paint the Pony

Paint the Pony is a fun, creative, hands-on activity where children get to decorate a real pony or horse using safe, washable, animal-friendly paints. It’s the perfect addition to birthday parties, school events, family gatherings, and hobby farm experiences.

Welcome to CCTX Animal Adventure!

🐐 1. Open-Style Petting Zoo (Free-Roam Experience)

A fun and interactive setup where our animals roam freely around the Hobby Farm area. Guests can walk at their own pace, meet the animals they choose, pet, feed, and take photos. This is perfect for birthday parties, family gatherings, and casual events.


🐑 2. Guided Pen-to-Pen Tour

Guests are guided through the Hobby Farm as we release animals one at a time for safe, close-up encounters. Our handlers will hold or manage the animals so your guests can confidently pet, feed, and interact with them. This structured option works well for groups who want a calmer, more controlled experience.


🐰 3. Over-the-Fence Petting Area (Great for Toddlers!)

Designed specifically for younger or smaller children who may be nervous around free-roaming animals. Animals stay safely within their pens while children pet and feed them over the fence, reducing the risk of being bumped or knocked over. Perfect for preschool and toddler groups.


📚 4. Show & Tell “Meet the Animals” Education Program

A popular choice for school field trips, homeschool groups, camps, and educational events. Our staff presents each animal, shares fun facts, explains care and husbandry, and allows safe interaction. This is an engaging hands-on learning experience students love.

Rules

Reservation & Guest Policy


  • A 25% deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due in full 14 days prior to your event.

Guest Age Guidelines & Supervision Requirements


  • Children under 2 years old are not counted toward the guest total and do not require payment. However, they must be accompanied by a parent or trusted adult.
  • Children ages 2–5 must be accompanied at a ratio of 1 adult per 2 children.
  • Children ages 6–9 require 1 adult per 4 children.
  • Children ages 10–12 require 1 adult per 6 children.
     

Please note: Our staff is here to help guide animal interactions, assist with feeding, and ensure a fun and educational experience. However, they are not responsible for supervising children. For the safety of both guests and animals, adult supervision is required at all times.


Rules & Expectations for All Guests


We want everyone to enjoy their time with us! To ensure a safe and respectful environment, please follow these guidelines:

  1. No screaming, yelling, foul, or inappropriate language 
  2. No running, climbing, roughhousing, or chasing animals.
  3. Do not open any enclosures or gates without staff supervision and permission.
  4. Only feed the animals with food provided by our staff—no outside food.
  5. We will never force animals to interact. While most of our animals are friendly and enjoy attention, please understand that some may prefer to keep their distance.

What to wear

🌾 Ranch & Hobby Farm Visit Guidelines 🌞

Please dress appropriately for the weather—layers are always a good idea! You'll be visiting a ranch and hobby farm, so comfort and practicality are key.


What to Bring & Wear:

  • Closed-toed shoes are REQUIRED for anyone entering the Hobby Farm.
  • Pants are recommended.
  • Expect the kids (and maybe you!) to get dirty—plan accordingly.
  • Sunscreen and bug spray are encouraged.
  • Bring refillable water bottles, snacks, and any personal medications you may need during your visit.

Weather Policy

🌧️ Weather Policy – Parties & Events

At Horse House / CCTX Animal Adventure / Hitch & Sip, the safety of your guests, our staff, and our animals is our top priority. Because many of our services take place outdoors, weather conditions may impact your event. Please review our weather policy below:

📌 Extreme Weather Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any event due to unsafe or extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Heavy rain
  • Lightning or thunderstorms
  • High winds
  • Flooding or unsafe ground conditions
  • Extreme heat or cold

These decisions are made to ensure the safety of everyone involved and are not optional when conditions pose a risk.

📌 No Refunds for Weather-Related Cancellations

We do not offer refunds for any event or service canceled due to weather.
Weather is completely outside of our control, and this policy ensures fairness and consistency for all clients.

📌 Rain Checks & Barn Credits

If your event is canceled due to weather, you will receive barn credit or a rain check valid for 12 months from the date of your original event.

Credits may be used for:

  • Partie
  • Lessons
  • Camps
  • Hobby farm visits
  • Mobile party pals
  • Trail rides

📌 Rescheduling

Rescheduled dates are based on availability.
We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred date, but availability is not guaranteed, especially during peak seasons.

📌 Indoor Options

If you would like to upgrade to or reserve indoor space, this must be arranged at the time of booking.
Indoor areas are not automatically included and may not be available last-minute.

📌 Client Acknowledgment

By booking with us, you acknowledge that:

  • We cannot control the weather.
  • Weather may require event changes or cancellations.
  • Compensation is provided only through barn credit or rain checks, not refunds.
     

Questions and Answers

Q; Do I have to pay for guest that are not going to participate in the hobby farm. 

A: Yes, if the guest is 2 years and older, the hobby farm packages are based on the USE OF SPACE and the SERVICE. 


Q: Can I add additional time or service the day of my event?

A: No, unfortunately we book our staff and animals services based on a minimum of 24-hour notice if and when available. 


Q: Can I bring food and drinks?

A: Yes, IF you are booked for a 2-hour party or longer. However, food and drinks cannot be in with the animals. You can bring in food, drinks (yes alcohol), chairs, tables, shade tents, bounce house, face painters, games, and decor.
