1) Our Commitment
If weather makes services unsafe or impractical, Provider will postpone the event and issue a Barn Credit (rain check) for all amounts paid to Provider. No cash refunds are offered.
2) What Counts as “Inclement Weather”
At Provider’s reasonable discretion, including but not limited to:
- Lightning detected within ~10 miles; severe thunderstorm/tornado/flash-flood watch or warning.
- High winds (sustained ≈25+ mph or dangerous gusts) affecting tents/inflatables/animal safety.
- Heavy rain/flooding/mud creating unsafe footing or electrical hazards.
- Extreme temperatures/heat index (e.g., ≥105°F) or poor air quality that endangers guests or animals.
Provider’s on-duty manager makes final safety determinations.
3) Decision Timing & Day-Of Procedure
- We’ll monitor forecasts with you and make a go/no-go call as close to the event as safely practical.
- If conditions are borderline, we may hold up to 60 minutes on site. If conditions don’t improve, services convert to a Barn Credit.
- If Provider determines services can proceed safely and Client elects to cancel, standard (non-weather) cancellation terms apply and no weather credit is due.
4) Barn Credit (Rain Check) Terms
- Form: Dollar-value Barn Credit on Client’s account (not cash).
- Use: May be applied to any Provider services (events, parties, lessons, camps, add-ons Provider supplies).
- Validity: 12 months from the original event date.
- Price Changes: Credit equals amounts paid; new bookings follow current pricing. Client pays any difference for upgrades/add-ons.
- Reschedules: One reschedule at no fee; additional date changes may incur a modest admin fee.
- No cash value; not redeemable for cash.
5) Third-Party Vendors
Fees for outside vendors (e.g., caterers, inflatables, face painters, restroom trailers) are separate businesses and follow their policies. Their charges are not included in your Barn Credit. Provider will assist with rebooking where possible.
6) Custom/Consumable Items
Custom, perishable, or non-returnable items pre-purchased through Provider may be deducted from the credit if costs cannot be recovered (disclosed in advance when possible).
7) No-Show / Late Arrival
If Client is a no-show or unreachable during the weather decision window and weather is not the cause, the booking may be treated as forfeited with no credit issued.
8) Force Majeure
Events beyond either party’s control (e.g., government orders, utility failures, disasters) are handled as a Barn Creditunder this policy. No refunds.
